De Mexicaanse fandango is een feestelijk ritueel, door middel van zijn poëzie,uitdrukking geeft aan de natuur, de dieren, het plattelandsleven en de liefde. Het is een jamsessie, een moment om samen te zijn en delen, met verschillende elementen: een verscheidenheid aan muziekinstrumenten (waarvan sommige uniek zijn, zoals het kaakbeen van het paard), een fusie van Latijns-Amerikaanse ritmes, kleurrijke kostuums en Mexicaanse tradities, evenals een muzikale en culturele cross-over. Mexicaanse fandango is gezelligheid met muziek als universele taal.
Bij deze gelegenheid zal 4 Cascabel een Mexicaanse fandango tonen.
Prior to the fandango, there will be a small intimate concert: a musical journey through Mexico and its cultural heritage (the origins of European music in Latin America), a tribute to the traditional interpretations of Mexican music.

The summer vacations are running on their last slippers so we're giving it another whirl! Welcome from August 26 to 28 to Kiosk Poétik 1190, in the beautiful Marconi Park in High-Vorst, where numerous strange birds invite you to open up all your senses. With creative workshops, street theater, acrobatics and (a lot of) music by artists from the neighborhood, there is a special atmosphere in Hoog-Vorst! Kiosk Poétik 1190 is an initiative of the Municipality of Forest, GC Ten Weyngaert, BRASS, Biblif and Bib Forest in the context of Park Poetik 2022.
