poétiki-qui&quoi?

Everyone – residents, volunteers, artists, organisations, local authorities, etc. – who contributes in any way to the story of Park Poétik is a poétikizen·n·e.

Some poétikizen·n·e·s have been loyal for years, others join in for a few meetings, and that's all fine! The poétikizen·n·e·s are supported by the people of the coordination team, who prepare all the meetings and provide production and administrative support.

residents

Park Poétik starts from the local context and invites residents to participate in the story of Park Poétik.

Residents ensure that Park Poétik is in touch with what is going on in Vorst and Sint-Gillis , and more specifically in the parks and squares where it is actively involved: Place Morichar, Place Marie Janson, Parvis de Saint-Gilles, Square Jacques Franck, Square Charles Jordens, Place Bethlehem, Rue de Belgrade, Rue du Fort, Place Saint-Denis, Parc de Forest, Parc Duden, Marais WIELS, Parvis Saint-Antoine, Parc Marconi, Bempt, .....

volunteers

Park Poétik works with more than 50 volunteers (aka Bénévogels) who accompany the artists during the arts summer, inform the public, help with catering, provide logistical support, and who also do this throughout the year when the poétikizen·n·e·s meet to evaluate and prepare the festival. 

artists

Without artists, no Park Poétik! We work with artists, artistic projects or anyone who wants to offer their talents to help us build the artistic programme.

The poetic interventions focus on encounter and dialogue. That is why participatory artists are central. Park Poétik is committed to a multidisciplinary programme and embraces hybrid forms. Every discipline has its imaginative power.

organisations

Park Poétik collaborates with a wide range of socio-cultural organisations that help plan and organise events for and during the summer.

Co-productions with partners are encouraged and are gladly integrated into the arts summer.

local authorities 

Park Poétik is supported by and works closely with local authorities. They help ensure that Park Poétik can spread its poetic tentacles as far as possible throughout the neighbourhoods.
