This project was a Surprise Poétik: an unannounced mobile pop-up programme
of street theatre, circus, dance, clowning, puppetry,
music, enchanting installations...

A character walks in. Then another. They are dressed in raincoats and move... backwards. In their absurd and playful universe, everything seems logical: how they move, how they travel, how they are together. And yet nothing is as it seems. Their steps set the rhythm, their coats create the sound. The audience watches this unusual, yet at the same time utterly ordinary ballad. They don't move a step forward... or do they? Is it going to rain? With “À contre-courant d'air”, Hélène and Neptune bring a surprising dance to the public space.
