Bastard.e.s van Park Poétik

The poétikizen.ne.s invite residents of Forest and Saint-Gilles to express themselves around the question ‘Ensemble c'est quoi’. A new, evolving ritual based on the multiplicity of voices and the ‘clash of journeys’. All over the city, the totem pole pops up and again and again it is adopted and set in motion by the local communities in ‘their’ ecosystem.

Tijdens het draaien, het weven en het dansen worden we verrast door ’transmigranten’ of alleszins de filosofische vraag die deze totempaal oproept. Wanneer is reizen iets positief en wanneer worden er vragen bijgesteld?

Led by artist Precy Numbi, this totem will come to life in different places throughout the summer. Will you dance with us?
