Dreamcatching 2026

What

The dreamcatchers come up with new dreams, build on previous editions and determine the content of the next edition. This results in various concepts, which are then further developed by the conceptmakers. They develop an artistic line for each concept and select the artists for the summer through a jury, a mandate or a co-production.

How?

The dreamcatchers work together on two occasions in the autumn: at the poétik assembly, the general meeting to which all poétikizen·n·e·s are invited, and during the dreamcatching,

The conceptmakers continue to work on the dreamcatchers' concepts during a four-month process (January–April) that takes shape in task forces with the same participatory approach. Then, conceptmakers choose the concept they want to engage in.
