We’ll be setting off from the Marais WIELS and finishing in the Parc de Forest.

13:00 – 14:00 Parade Poétik @ Marais WIELS > Parc de Forest
This year, the opening parade is playing a game of table tennis, with:
- the enthusiastic pupils of Arc-en-Ciel, La Preuve par 9 and Ecole du Bempt
- Willemien Meijer and her quirky furniture on wheels
- the eye-catching costumes of Cycl.one
- Kid's Percu and their fantastic fanfare
- DJ collective NinetySix & their experimental soundscape
- MC Ping & MC Pong from Miksi Bee
- the Bastard·e·s from Park Poétik with their colourful totem poles
Action and reaction, with plenty of music, rhythm, voice, movement and dialogue.
We meet and celebrate in the streets, everywhere and anywhere.
Along the way, there are moments of improvisation, slowing down, coming together, sitting, lying down and setting off again!

- we meet at 12:45 at Marais WIELS and you can join us at any time
- wear good walking shoes
- there is no dress code, just be yourself
- children are welcome accompanied by their parent(s) or a group leader!

A fun-filled afternoon with workshops, a performance and a touch of music.

The artists
– Precy Numbi –
Using technological waste, striking performances and costumes made from discarded materials, visual artist, sculptor and performer creates an ecological and poetic world in which recycling and resistance go hand in hand. creates an ecological and poetic world in which recycling and resistance go hand in hand.
– Cycl.one –
CYCL.ONE (@collectif_cycl.one), a collective of creative makers and artists from Brussels, explores public space as a giant playground. With expertise in textiles and traditional techniques, they create monumental, colourful and quirky works.

Rhythm with the voice? Spoken word? Sounds with objects? The young DJ collective 96 – NinetySix (@96movement_) experiments far beyond the boundaries of music! Together with children from Years 4, 5 and 6, they create the parade’s soundscape.
– Bastard·e·s van Bruxelles –
The Bastard·e·s of Park Poétik are back again this year! Featuring Precy Numbi and the Transmigration totem, Orfeo and her Akarova totem, and the Park Poétik totem.
– Kid’s Percu –
The fanfare of Kid’s Percu (@kids.percu) – a colourful mix of children discovering the world in a different way – will once again help set the rhythm of the parade this year!
– MC Ping & MC Pong –
Miksi Bee (@miksibee) is a Brussels-based nomadic performer who has been immersed in poetry since birth. Miksi can’t sleep at night, but is happy to tell you more about it on stage.
– Willemien Meijer –
Willemien Meijer , a young woodworker who creates furniture and gives it a playful character, creates with children and teachers from the 3rd grade quirky pieces of furniture on wheels : a table, a chair, a board for Pictionary, a ping-pong table…
– Marzia Dalfini –
With our almost inexhaustible supply of bamboo – yes, Park Poétik does have quite a stock – and with the help of hands big and small, Marzia Dalfini creates imaginative, three-dimensional bamboo structures.
– SPEKTAKEL: Claꓘ – Compagnie Hik – 14:00 + 18:00
@Compagnie_Hic, the juggling, music and theatre company led by Hélène Maeck, Benoit Boreux and Nicolas Baudart, blends the art of rhythm, juggling and acting in their latest creation, Claꓘ.
