The radio residency builds on the exhibition at Jacques Franck, ‘Soupah! Cup of tea? Fruit me!’, a triptych created as part of a three-year project on social cohesion, with food as its unifying theme. Do come and have a look!

OUT FOR A WALK
On 1, 2 and 3 July, 16:00-19:00
On the move between Marie Janson, Morichar, Square Jordens and the Parvis
Erien Withouck and Renée Lorie set off on a walk together, accompanied by a cart, coffee, soup and summer fruits. In the Socratic tradition, they engage in conversation about soup, hot drinks and fruit, whilst capturing the voices of the people and the life on the streets of Forest and Saint-Gilles.

Discover your favourite fruit stories and join artists Renée Lorie and Erien Withouck in creating a unique, creative recipe fanzine in Jacques Franck’s garden! Everyone aged 6 and over is welcome to get creative, taste the results, and finish off with a delicious fruit salad made together.
RADIO POÉTIK WITH ERIEN WITHOUCK & RENÉE LORIE & MARIE-ROSE MAYELE

On the Parvis of Saint Gilles, in front of the church
Erien Withouck, Renée Lorie and Marie-Rose Mayele take their seats in Park Poétik’s blue-and-green caravan for a lively live radio broadcast. Peach or strawberry? Cucumber or courgette? With these tasty dilemmas, they invite the audience to join them for a cosy chat and a lovely moment together.
★ More about the artist: The artist duo Erien Withouck and Renée Lorie use mobile studios and cooking stations to create inclusive, participatory projects in public spaces, capturing stories through photography and interviews. Marie-Rose Mayele is a versatile performing artist, singer and choreographer whose crossover projects build bridges between dance, music and community art.
