Radioresidence [the archive we live in – le tissu de nos récits] with Laura Oriol @ Square Jacques Franck
★ Street residence, free and for everyone! ★
This summer 4 x on 8, 9, 10 and 11 July, on Square Jacques Franck
Participatory radio project
For all ages: come and tell your story!
What stories do we share, what memories hold our neighbourhood together, and whose voices do we most need to hear today? the archive we live in brings to light the stories that live within you and in your neighbourhood. By recording and sharing your testimony, a living audio archive grows – one that is constantly enriched, passed on and takes on new forms.
In co-creative workshops, we transform these stories into handmade hammocks, incorporating short phrases, symbols and story fragments. Throughout the summer, the hammocks will travel with Park Poétik, becoming time and again a place of tranquillity, encounter and listening.
On the fourth day at Square Jacques Franck (Saturday 11 July), we will broadcast the collected stories on Radio Poétik, so that they can continue to resonate within you, in the neighbourhood and beyond the square’s boundaries.
★ More about the artist: Laura Oriol is a performer and creator who weaves together movement, voice and ritual to create intimate, physical experiences. In her work, she invites the audience to step into poetic, sensory worlds where vulnerability and strength come together.
▲ In collaboration with Ethics of exchanges within participatory art, a participatory research project by Laura Oriol in collaboration with nadine, PCS Franck & It takes a square door Mirthe Dokter which is taking place at the same time in the same square.
