A flower box is strolling across the square and having a chat with the people on the terrace… What? Rewind! Yep, you definitely read that right. Although, it’s more rolling than walking. The flower box might slowly follow you around, or sometimes it stops to have a chat or tell you a corny joke. Or, who knows, it might try to sell you all sorts of crazy things with an air of mystery. A lovely touch of Belgian absurdism! 

★ More about the artist: Het Instituut voor Volkswarmte (@instituutvoorvolkswarmte) builds structures that bring people closer together. Very close at times, like in a sauna, but also figuratively close, in structures where pints, music and loud laughter form a soft carpet for pleasantries.
