This project was a Surprise Poétik: an unannounced mobile pop-up programme
of street theatre, circus, dance, clowning, puppetry,
music, enchanting installations...

Een vriendelijk, vrij en rondtrekkend straattheater met een klarinet, een menu en een vlinderdas, ontworpen om hedendaagse muziek naar de aarzelende massa te brengen. Basically Mr Diagonal's MODERN MUSIC MENU greets passers-by with a friendly 'hello'. If they respond they are presented with a menu of intriguing titles: Elephant, The Sad Carrot , Wimbledon... Each 'order' buys a personal micro-performance lasting under a minute, using different parts of the clarinet to produce an unexpected sound and/or action. Curious ? Have at least one ear or one eye ? Then Mr. D's MMM is for you.
