With headphones on, passers-by carry out a series of simple instructions: walking, observing, reacting to, or imitating the movements of others. As new participants join in and others leave, a strange collective choreography emerges, as if a silent conversation were taking place, the rules of which remain invisible to the spectators around them. 

★ More about the artist: Rania Barhoumi (@ranya_barhoumi) is a Brussels-based choreographer. Her work lies at the intersection of performance, installation and choreographic experimentation, and explores how the body behaves when, like software, it executes instructions.
