Alceste wanders to meet the town's inhabitants. His poetry and impertinence delight passers-by. He is usually accompanied by his acolytes. Alceste doesn't speak, but he listens. He makes the unspeakable speak.

The puppet seeks out a memory within himself. It makes the old speak through an internal path.
