Discover the stories and specific atmospheres of four different places in Saint-Gilles! Sint-Gillis!

For three weeks, we returned to Square Jacques Franck on Wednesdays where we cried together, confronted violence, sang the Sound Poétik and danced together across the square.
Every Thursday we joined CHAUD on de Fortstraatfor the summer festival in front of GC Piano Factory. People would pass by and eat ice cream, drink a pint and enjoy the summer.
Fridays we placed our little radio-caravan in the courtyard of Square Charles JordensSquare Charles Jordens. The residents of the neighborhood looked at us expectantly, but then readily embraced us. There was dancing, coffee and we discovered music from all over the world. As the radio went into live mode at 6 p.m., dozens of people stuck their heads out their windows to enjoy along.
Elke zaterdag reden we naar Place Bethlehem en genoten van dit levendige plein. We lieten de diversiteit aan het woord terwijl we uitkeken om de spelende kinderen in de waterfonteinen.

Every Saturday we drove to Bethlehem and enjoyed this lively square. We let the diversity do the talking as we looked out for children playing in the water fountains.
